Awesome, I was hoping that would be the case. I definitely won’t need millions of blocks wasted to play 3 PlayStation games

I just recently factory reset mine and this is happening for me too. I’ve emailed Chris. In the meantime just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them and if they managed to get it out of factory mode, if so how?

Thanks

Manage to sort it out. After speaking to Chris, needed to download the latest version of the app to install the firmware. Had to unplug it and plug it in a new usb slot for it to be redirected.

My Dreamcast has a picopsu not sure if this is standard on them or normal psus. But if I turn it completely off just after a save in game, it won’t remember my last save. It will show an old one. I also have a gdemu.

I found resetting the console using the controller pad method, remembers my last save. So I’m trying to remember to do that as a work around before turning it off. Thought i should mention.
I noticed this in MVC2 as the game allows you to see the timestamp. Not sure if this occurs on other games. But thought I should mention.

In this video, I take a look at a new work-in-progress feature for the Dreamcast VM2!

This new feature allows for automatic game detection for the purposes of virtual VMU creation and switching, even without using GDEMU+openMenu. This means the feature will work with original discs or any ODE.

As stated in the video, this detection method will never be 100%, but ultimately it should cover a very, very large portion of the library.

Check my channel for additional videos on the VM2.

I have one of these now) from someone who was unhappy with it and is going for the 8BitMods one in the future)

Aside from the tedium of moving everything over and some software issues as i had a FLASHGBX connected to the PC (same drivers) its quite nice

When you have a moment could you let me know what you did to fix the driver problem? I also had flashgbx drivers installed and I can't get the VM2 to connect in gui mode

Unplugged my flashgbx, factory reset the VM2 (doesn’t impact SD card contents) and connected it in GUI mode via the cable the flashgbx was using

Thanks so much for the help... Were you able to factory reset from the PC app? That part is failing for me now I was holding the wrong button lol, seems to be working now! Thank you again!
