This software will allow you to do the following:
  • Generate A Random Serial And Access Number For Phantasy Star Online
  • Auto Decrypt & Encrypt Your Phantasy Star Online Saves
  • Manually Decrypt Your Phantasy Star Online Saves
  • Manually Encrypt Your Phantasy Star Online Saves With Alternative Serials
  • Dump Your Serial Number From Your Encrypted Saves By Bruteforcing It
  • Read/Write Serial And Access Number Using Your Decrypted Saves
  • Change Your Character Name Using Your Decrypted Saves
  • Change Section ID Using Your Decrypted Saves
  • View Your Characters Meseta Using Your Decrypted Saves
  • View Your Characters Total Experience Gained Using Your Decrypted Saves
  • View Your Characters Level Using Your Decrypted Saves (Based off Total Experience, May Not Be 100% Accurate)
If you have any issues please feel free to DM me.

(If you're struggling to bruteforce the serial on your MAIN DATA save, Try doing the GUILD CARD save first and see if that helps, Once you have your serial for it then using that serial, Try the Auto Decrypt & Encrypt option instead and enter your current serial in the top box then your newly generated serial and access keys in the other boxes and open your MAIN DATA (should be PSO_____.VMS) and click Auto Run.
This will not only decrypt your save but re-encrypt it using your new snak, After that you can simply add it back to your vmu dump using VMU Manager.)

Read First
If you're new to Phantasy Star Online and don't currently have a save then you can skip the guide, All you have to do is go to the 'Keygen' tab and generate yourself a Serial and Access number for the version of Phantasy Star Online you are planning to use (the Ives version is USA) and then boot into the game and when Phantasy Star Online asks for them at launch you just enter them in and continue from there (See the 'Entering Your SNAK In PSO After Erasing SNAK In Flash' spoiler at the bottom of the guide for pictures) and that's pretty much it for you.

Playing Online
If you do plan on playing online, It is recommended you buy a legit copy of the game and use that snak but if you do want to just use this app instead, With your new unique serial and access number i do recommend before doing anything with your saves you try to register it online first because as slim as the chances are, It is possible you may generate one that's already being used, Depending on what the site looks for when it comes to checking if it's in use or not.
So it would be worth trying to register it first then if all goes well you know you can continue and everything should just work.

Guide
For anyone who wants to replace there shared SNAK with one from this software here is a basic guide as to what you'll have to do.

(Depending on the order you dump your save, The main save maybe called PSO_____.VMS or something like PSO__(1).VMS and your guild card save will be the other but the guide will reflect it being called PSO_____.VMS so keep that in mind. To avoid confusion i recommend dumping the main save first)

Note
Dreamshell seems to only save the .VMS file so i recommend dumping the vmu with it instead to .VMD then use VMU Explorer to export the save.

(Always keep an untouched backup of your save just in case but my application won't overwrite your original save though and instead create new ones so keep that in mind)

1) You will need to backup your Phantasy Star Online save from your VMU or Memory Card and copy it to your PC, This can be done with something like Dreamshell and a serial sd adapter or the VM2 or some other similar device.

2) Then will need to use the Keygen option to generate a serial and access number you wish to use and keep it safe, When generating them with my app it will save them to text files in the 'files' folder just remember if you press generate again it will erase the previously generated ones.

3) Then you will want to use something like 'Flash Memory Eraser' (Linked above) in order to have your Phantasy Star Online ask you for your serial and access number again.

4) Now i recommend going to 'Bruteforce Serial' in order to try to obtain the serial number used from your save which will be saved to txt file. (If you already know the SNAK used then you can skip this although there is no harm in doing it and it will copy it into the box for 'Auto Decrypt & Encrypt')

5) Now go to 'Auto Decrypt & Encrypt' and select 'Open Save' and choose your PSO_____.VMS (Your main save not the guild card save) then enter the original serial and new serial and access keys if there not already filled in and then press 'Auto Run' and very quickly you should see it say complete across the bottom and that will be your save changed over to the new SNAK, You will find them in a folder named after your character.

Image

6) Once you're at this stage you can add the saves back onto your vmu image with VMU Explorer (ignoring the _decrypted files) then using Dreamshell, flash the vmu image back onto your vmu.
If you're using something other than Dreamshell then follow whatever directions are necessary for that particular device to add your saves to it.
You could also test your save/vmu dump and new SNAK using flycast if you wanted.

Removed 'Flash Eraser' and replaced it with 'Phantasy Star Online Flash Tool' by Red Ring Rico, This will only erase the SNAK for PSO v1 and PSO v2 from your dreamcast's flashrom rather than erase the whole thing.
I asked Red Ring Rico if this was something they could make based on their Flash uploader tool and they were kind enough to make it (Thank you Red Ring Rico), Now going forward you won't have to erase the dreamcast's entire flashrom and loose your modem settings in the process.

Tool works great as I started my save from scratch. Good job Razor X and the tool made by Ring Rico is a great add on and works wonders.
