Whats the BEST Mega Drive game?

most of these games are no goes for me... Contra is going at ridiculous prices, they are all either far too expensive or not on sale at all

yeah aren't they a couple hundred or something? I have a mega drive emulator on my Desktop computer and on my Android phone so its no biggie I can play them

By the way, there's playing them, and then there's playing them on original hardware...

EDIT Seems like most of them are out, and the ones that aren't ask way more. Dragonbox still sells them for €99 before shipping. Aliexpress sells them for 150 dollars shipping to Europe included. I'm sure there's others. But I just can't be bothered...

Way more expensive or not, it's still a good investment. Once you have it, you have every game at your fingertips...

Tip: Buy an NTSC machine so you can run all ROMs at 60Hz...

in a perfect world, if I had the money I would do that, but for the moment, any games I can't afford I will simply get for my PC Emulator, I know its not the same as playing on the real hardware but I can play with my 360 controller so at least I'm using a game pad, and it doesn't cost me anything

maybe one day....

The freeware Cave Story port, it's amazing a complex title like that runs so good on default hardware
