I'm Mtbcooler! I've been a huge Sonic fan since I was young and a long while ago I got a dreamcast! Around 2019 actually. It's been quite an interesting ride, got a dreampi and burned a lot of discs however despite loving a lot of it I couldn't help but notice one thing. No matter how much I tried I just couldn't get comfortable with the controllers. The buttons seemed worn on my controllers and my fingers felt too big and brushed up against the vmus.
It wasn't a good time. Hence why I got a strikerDC only to run up into deadzone issues in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 along with the triggers feeling like mashed potatos so racing games were kinda meh on it. it got so bad I kinda just gave up on my dreamcast for a couple of years, however recently I decided to give it another shot, so I've bought a blueretro adapter (The one with four ports) along with a gdemu clone and a new vga cable and I'm finally giving one of the most interesting sega consoles another shot especially now that I'll be able to load a lot more fun games on there!

As you can see a lot of racing games! I have played a little jet set radio but I don't remember liking it that much, I think it's mainly skill issue though. I've decided on waiting till I get my gdemu and controller adapter in before really delving in though. That said I would love some game recomendations!

So yeah! There's a lot more to talk about me if you guys are curious but this is basically how my dreamcast journey is coming along! I usually don't particually like forums but considering how the dreamcast just has massive early internet vibes I think it's time to finally give them a try!
