Just this for now.

Finished up the psp renderer, which should verify the same speed on dreamcast as well.

Next up is writing the a pvr renderer for dreamcast.
Currently there is a dreamcast platform, it's using gldc at the moment.

Then onto making a ui and integrating into openMenu. Along with adding image support in all 3 backends

Wanted to mention that, for some strange reason, I cannot get the new GTA3 CDI release to boot with openMenu. Works fine if I just boot it from folder 01 on the SD card.

EDIT: Actually, very strange... I created a fresh new SD card using openMenu and only GTA3, and it works. I am so confused.

i modded my Dreamcast year ago with GDEMU board, and OpenMenu OS, but it isn't updated anymore...
I just read rhat Dreamshell 4.0.1 is just released: is it possible to run Dreamshell with GDEMU instead of OpenMenu? Is the compatibility still the same?

I just read rhat Dreamshell 4.0.1 is just released: is it possible to run Dreamshell with GDEMU instead of OpenMenu? Is the compatibility still the same?

Compatibility should be the same as gdmenu now. There shouldn't be any issues booting most gdi or cdi

thanks, well i don't remember very well how i prepared my current microSD with games and OpenMenu OS... I have 60 folders named with progressive numbers, a GDEMU.ini file and a readme file:

no way, DreamShell is an OS that runs games from SD serial and HDD

aaaah ok...so i need to buy an SD serial adapter to connect it to Dreamcast in order to read the games from sd card. And is it necessary an HDD too? Does it requires the cd drive in order to run? I removed mine ad i installed GDEMU...

GDEMU will offer WAY, WAY better performance than the serial SD reader. You already have the best device. Stick with it.

The HDD mod is something else entirely. As far as I know, it cannot coexist with GDEMU (unless you do some crazy mod).

Unfortunately the OS for GDEMU isn't updated since 2021... i would like to fix some issues into the games list and covers but as it isn't updated, i still have the issues i discovered yeas ago
