i have submitted the app to Microsoft as an incorrect detection of malware and they have agreed, moving forward it hopefully shouldn't be flagged anymore.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no change in behavior on both my Win10 and Win11 machines regarding the custom font. It still black screens after the boot animation.RazorX wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 6:01 pm do me a favour and try my latest version see how you get on:

The VMU art still also doesn't show on Win10, Win11 still works and shows the art like ver 1.19a.
Here's the custom font file I made:

There doesn't seem to be anything off about it compared to the stock preset font files.

ok i did find an issue with the cursor color for some reason, everything looks fine so i'm unsure why it doesn't work now so until i have time to figure it out i've disabled editing that one but the rest still work.Hansuke wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 3:59 pmUnfortunately, there seems to be no change in behavior on both my Win10 and Win11 machines regarding the custom font. i've released a new version of my app to reflect this and included a slightly altered version of your preset that works as well as tweaked how the vmu icon preview works but since it worked for me on windows 11 i'm unsure what the issue is on your end but hopefully it works now.
i have also added an extra check to make sure all the files are there so you should get an error instead if something went wrong.
when you launch my theme manager now it should update itself to v1.22 and you should be good to go.
here is the process i did which resulted in the image below:
preview:

i would recommend using openmenu instead of gdmenu though, you can still keep the exact same theme and style if you like, just bring up the menu and set it to scroll and that will replicate the look of gdmenu.

I've tried the new version and there seems to be no difference in behavior. Now I'm suspecting it could be something wrong with my gdemu, but because it works just fine if I don't customize the font, I'm not completely sure it's the gdemu's fault.RazorX wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 8:06 am do me a favour and try my latest version see how you get on:

Only reason I use gdmenu is because it can skip the boot logo when launching a game while open menu cannot.
Here's my 01 folder for gdmenu:

It black screens for me, but if it works for you then that means there is something wrong with my gdemu. Could you please confirm?

Using the most recent version makes it so that my OpenMenu won't load without a VMU.
