Oh I understand now! To be totally honest I wasn't aware it was a registered brand. Well, for Xenocider we found a supplier in China (of courseDCGX wrote: ↑Sat Jun 28, 2025 3:02 pm Steelbook is a brand; it's the name of a registered product by a company named Scanavo and not just a catch-all term. So Blu-rays and video games that come with a Steelbook actually come from this specific company and are labeled Steelbook (you can see their info below the interior disc holder). It's a patented design, and they're built sturdier.
Metal cases, or metalpaks, are thinner and have weaker hinges on the spine. They're often less quality.
