Have you tried compiling a non edited version of it from the latest source code, if it doesn't run then it rules out the possibility of your changes being the cause of the problem.

im srry for reviving such an old post, but is there a source code sumwhere for dreamcast linux or sumthing on how to compile linux for the dreamcast?
