Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Still doesn't connect, despite resetting. Is it because of my PC's Default Gateway? How do I change it?

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Go to control panel > network connections > right click on your ethernet adapter > properties > ipv4 properties. Set IP address to 192.168.0.2, subnet mask to 255.255.255.0, gateway to 192.168.0.1, dns1 to 192.168.0.1, leave dns 2 blank.

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Couldn't find an ipv4 setting, so changed the settings in internet protocol instead. Seemed to work, but I still can't get to the router settings for some reason.

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Open command prompt and type "ipconfig" to verify that your ip settings changed on your ethernet adapter. If they are all set then type "ping 192.168.0.1" and see if you get a response.

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Request timeout. Perhaps I should try the other router?
By the way, for some reason I can't set up internet connection sharing, I think because of an IP conflict. I don't know if this is relevant.

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Keep the connections unbridged while you set up the router and disconnect from your wifi. If the router is properly reset the ip address should be 192.168.0.1 and if you set up static ip address for your PC of 192.168.0.xxx as i said before you should be able to access it. If you need more help with your router check the manual ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/wbr1310/Man ... al_110.zip

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Okay. For some reason, my router didn't feel like connecting correctly before. I'm now configured. So in the mish-mash of all these instructions, I'm unsure as to what I'm supposed to do now. Do I reset my Wireless Network to DCHP, or stick with the static addresses?

I know I'm close to getting this working, and I really, really appreciate your help.

Don't I have to set one of the addresses to the Sylverant server? On Dreamcast set the IP address to 192.168.0.3, the default gateway to 192.168.0.1, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, primary dns to 192.168.0.1

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Don't worry about sylverant right now.
In your router configuration do this:
-disable WAN
-disable DHCP
-disable wireless radio
For LAN-side
-set default gateway to 192.168.0.2
-set subnet to 255.255.255.0 if it isnt already
-set primary dns to 192.168.0.2
Go back to your PC and then bridge the connections. Your eth adapter should still be 192.168.0.2. I believe the gateway for your PC eth adapter should now be the same as your wifi adapter, but I'm not sure. Its possible it doesnt need one.
On dreamcast set default gateway to 192.168.0.2, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, ip address to 192.168.0.3, primary dns to 192.168.0.2. Notice your pc eth adapter is the gateway for everything connected to the router and the ip address on that is 192.168.0.2 right now.

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
No, when I said I was configured, I meant I did that already, except for the fact that I didn't see an option for WAN or wireless radio- should I check again?
Anyway, I tried connecting to PSO with those settings, and I got what I believe to be a server error. What now?

Re: Connecting BBA via PC
Use the web browser to test not pso. Also can you post the ip settings that are currently assigned to your wireless adapter. (open cmd prompt and type "ipconfig")
