This was recently addressed by us internally and we think by waiting until April it'll give us enough time to really show things off and make a huge announcement. By announcement I mean trailer, two of them. But here, hope this helps.proxxshot wrote:Are there no videos or gameplay for this?
What state of development is this in?
It says that this may or may not be the last year for development, so which one is it? What exactly is needed to finish the game? How much money and how much time?
There's not a lot of info to go off, and everyone always seems hesitant about giving out any info about the game. Is this the only project being worked on right now or is there more? Who is going to publish the game? Why not do Kickstarter? Why not set up a pre-order service like watermelon games?
I'm a loyal fan and just like most people I would love to see the game get finished and get a commercial release. I just think a few questions need to be given out so people know what there money is going towards. Its a pretty common practice to give updates........
There are two projects: Hypertension and Scourge. GOAT is publishing. Can't do a kickstarter because it'd be a conflict of interest with funds that have been poured in to development early on, and we already have a publisher. Kickstarter is for independent projects only.
Hypertension was finished previously so we're just methodically going through and replacing the graphical assets. Scourge is still on the building block but it's coming along much faster with donations. Which is great, because it's been 3 years too long.
Hesitant was because we were/are bound not to talk but that'll change come April, hopefully.
