Assembly 2014, humble demo release

Post by rebb »

Hello Dreamcast folks!

We released humble little demo for Dreamcast at Assembly summer 2014. It made 4th in Wild competition.

Youtube version has more issues than running it on real thing :)

Me and another programmer involved never actually had owned Dreamcast before, so this is not example what Dreamcast is capable of. It was learning experience and hopefully our next one will be much better. We didn't know people uses VGA cables widely, so it is not supported atm.

Radkin, Iron-man and I use it. Radkin's other associate uses the VGA cable as well.

Thanks rebb, I really enjoyed it even though I haven't downloaded it yet, just the YouTube version. Anyway, I thought it was excellent.

With the Tomee VGA cables available now, I'm suprised most DC people (or people on this forum) aren't using it or some other means of VGA.

Can I ask you and the team to keep us updated on the progress of your next project, I'm assuming it will still be on a DC, that would be great. Cheers.

Pretty cool seeing some DC demoscene stuff at Asm. Always wanted to see that event in person, looks amazing every year. Not too bad for a first go at the hardware.
