Dreamcast scratches discs

My Dreamcast keeps scratching my discs and I can't find out why the spindle and laser are fine and I already cleaned the lense . the scratches look like rings around the disc luckily it was just nfl 2k when I noticed this problem

Does your Dreamcast still have the two pieces of black felt in the tray?...

Yes I tried removing them and still no use in have them on right now

If you opened it before, see if the case is flush at the seams. Sometimes the part where the controller ports are needs a little nudge to make the top of the case fall back into place. Also make sure all the screws are screwed in tightly on the bottom the Dreamcast...

And leave the felt in...

I've checked the inside tightened the screws I guess I have to get another gd ROM drive because I can't find an answer to why this happens

I'm out of ideas too then. Last thing you could do is check if the disc touches anything when you spin it around manually with the tray open...
