If you dont have a BBA you have two options. Either you can connect with dialup internet if you have a landline and an account, or you can bridge your broadband internet connection using a PC with a USB 56K modem PC-DC connection.

Re: Anyone up for some PSO?
I will be joining up any day now. Just waiting for my BBA. I wonder how many old SEGA fans would like to know about this, i'm sure a lot of them don't as I didn't even know I really had to dig for this site even.

A lot of people know there are still Private PSO servers, but most people who have interest in Dreamcast just assume the game is not playable due to only having broadband internet at home. I think the Raspberry Pi setup will help more users join in online gaming.
Honestly what I would like to see is someone streamed lined these and started selling them, a kickstarter or something. Putting this all together into a nice project box and selling it as an actual Dreamcast accessory. This would also help in advertising the games that are still playable online, users who had no idea the DC could be played online would start showing up. Although it would be helpful if we get a few more games online too. AFO is supposed to be coming soon, which is great as that game never saw life on another console.
But being DC dev, we just got the Raspberry Pi thing working, so you know, baby steps.

Re: Anyone up for some PSO?
Yeah i just decided recently out of nowhere i wanted to put my dreamcast online so been bugging my buddies. But they dont have dreamcast lol. Might try and get them on PC tho but that buddy dont have internet
woe is me. Lol
I am enjoying this though i hope the word gets around about getting dreamcast back online. Be nice to have a couple hundred people online. Games just too fun. PSO2 is great but something about being able to play online on dreamcast this many years down its sweet
