Traveller - Unreleased Dreamcast game!

It was intended to be a space based first person RPG. It seems that it was not particularly advanced in development.

Iv'e no idea if anybody here heard of this game before. If we need to find out more I can message the guy as he's on another forum that I frequent.

His name is Mark Jones and he also worked on some Amiga games, how cool is that.

Hello all
I'm the artist who was mentioned above. The game was only in it's early stages before being shelved. I've been on more games that have been abandoned than have seen release. Just a thing that happens.

We had a ship or two built and one interior. And had some quick walkthroughs to show progress.

Hi Mark - Was there ever anything playable or a video to see?
Were you supposed to indirectly control and direct your shipmates in the game or was it a lone wolf hero type thing?

I have to admit I can't remember the game play too much. And I certainly do not have anything playable, however I have a few walk through videos. I've been rummaging around and found some artwork which I'll add shortly. My website started out in 2001 so parts need a little revamping That was before high speed internet and high density screens. I shaved a lot down artwise to keep people sane who were using dial-up!

Been digging even more (tons of Battlespire stuff too) . Found a mock up of the box, at least a partial prototype, and the 3D models. Have to convert my AniPro textures to something MAX can read these days, but I should be able to get some new stuff up soon.

Very interesting! Never heard of this one. It reminds me a lot of two other cancelled Dreamcast games, System Shock 2 and Type X: Spiral Nightmare.
