DC/PC server via XP
We ALL know it is possible but I do not know how. I have a voice compatable modem inside my PC and my PC connects via Broadband. and I have a dc stock modem and a phone cord. I have all the materials. How would one connect to your servers (Lets say your autoconnect copy of PSO) with XP? I know it must be a pain in the neck but can anyone help me?

Re: DC/PC server via XP
Everyone I know has done it through Win98SE or Linux. I've tried WinXP but failed.

Re: DC/PC server via XP
linux is harder. if you want to set up a PC-DC server windows 98 or 98SE is your best and easiest option. i have mine set up on windows 98. i tried to use xp but failed as well.

I have a 98 but the problem is that the internet doesnt work on it. you wouldnt want to use wireless anyway. if you have a linux machine then try the modem from that one. you will most likely need to buy a new modem anyway. most internal modems dont work for this. i got lucky with mine.

Jaseman, connecting to our servers would be the easy step after you figure out how to get the PC/DC server working. Have you tried following a guide such as this one? : http://www.maturion.de/dreamcast/mterlouw/
