I think I see the issue here. Judging by the first screenshot you posted of the DreamPi screen, it seems both the Pi and the Dreamcast have the same IP address. That's no good. lol It will cause a conflict and your Dreamcast isn't going to be able to connect to your network.
To fix this, you need to log into DreamPi with username 'Pi' and password 'raspberry' and then type these two commands, pressing enter after each:
sudo dhclient -r eth0
sudo dhclient eth0
This will force the Pi to get a new IP address from your router.

Re: Dreampi connection help needed
No luck... should I be set at 0.0.0.0 or 8.8.8.8? I keep trying both ways whenever I test it...

Re: Dreampi connection help needed
Did you restart the Pi (unplug it and then plug it back in) after running those commands? The IP address should change to something different where it says "My IP address is 192.168.0.98". If it's still the same then you might want to try resetting your router (unplug it for 30 seconds and then plug it back in).
Don't worry about the DNS server. DreamPi ignores the DNS setting on the Dreamcast so it doesn't matter what you have it set to.

Re: Dreampi connection help needed
I tried unplugging the router and unplugging/re-plugging the pi, I don't think I was able to change the IP address...

See if you can do a hard reset of your router. There should be a reset button or reset hole (use a paperclip to push the button) on the back. Hold the button down for 30 seconds and then release it. Keep in mind that this will reset your router name and password back to the defaults.
The IP address is definitely the issue so we just need to find a way to change it. Hard resetting the router should definitely so the trick.

Re: Dreampi connection help needed
Geez! I have no idea why it keeps getting the same IP address.
One last shot. Try these commands and then restart the Pi:
sudo dhclient -r
sudo dhclient
You can restart the Pi without unplugging it by typing this command: sudo reboot.

Cool, thanks! I've been practicing Alien Front Online offline, excited to try that and the bowling... my pi quit working about the time the bowling game got running so I haven't been able to play them yet. The last dial up online game I was able to play was Tetris.
