You would have to ask Corbyn that. My guess is they probably don't want to go that direction + they have a contract with GOAT Store Publishing already.

I thought Corbyn also stated one time that they didn't want to be tethered to the expectations of what a successful Kickstarter can bring. Mainly, backers constantly bugging about a release.

Looks creepy as hell (one of he few times ending a statement with "...as hell" actually makes sense!). I'm probably wrong, but are those blood spats in the new vid the loading screens, or just transitions for the vid? It'd be cool if they were the loading screens.

It is a generic video scene thing. You can be damn sure it wouldn't look that way on the Dreamcast even if Doom supported videos. It was too HD for it lol. They just like to edit their trailers adding little touches like that for dramatic effect. It isn't something included in the game.

This is my most anticipated dc game. I wish they would break their radio silence with some more footage. They should consider a patreon. This has evolved beyond a simple doom engine. Their last video showing off bump maping is amazing. Only games that ever did that were shenmue 2 and sturmwind

Well as far as showing footage/gameplay off, I am sure they have something in the works. As for a patreon, I think it's for the same reason they don't wish to do a kickstarter; Having a contract with GOAT Store.

I have asked this question on their facebook page but they does not seem to want to answer that....

If its not Dreamcast then i at least hope they will release a modified Hypertension that supports it , i mean , why not ? The earlier footage and movies thay have shown us looks really good as well !
