I've had a look through your TV's manual and it states it can support 60hz signals. If the image is stable and it's just the colours that are off, you may wish to run a problem game and try the following:

Support > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

Picture > Advanced Settings > Colour Space > Auto

I've never heard of being able to use a composite source with a component input.
I'm pretty sure this is your issue.

It's normal when there are no composite inputs. The yellow video plug goes into the green "Y" socket.

Good news!

I've accidentally stumbled upon a solution today.

Mainly thanks to rjay63 who told me my Samsung led tv probably does support 60hz and was telling Farmhouse that using a composite source with a component input IS possible (i.e a yellow video plug going into the green "Y" socket)

Just to make sure I hadn't done anything retarded myself, I checked all the inputs by removing them.

Then plugged the yellow cable back into the same input.

Which apparently automatically fixes the problem...

Long story short: unplug yellow component cable, wait 3 seconds, plug it back in, and voilĂ !

Good to hear you found a solution. Maybe your TV cannot change between PAL and NTSC colour systems on the fly. I think setting the colour system to "Auto" may also prevent this in the future.

It's not uncommon, usually the back of the TV will have something like this

Other times it will have a composite port, but it and the component have to share audio ports.
