1. Street Fighter III: Third Strike
(best technical combat in ANY street fighter game ever, sick OST, sexiest combos and flair)

2. Street Fighter Alpha 3
(Best roster and gameplay for those used to traditional SF2 characters and gameplay but wanting something newer and much prettier, as well as those wanting an updated/more comprehensive alpha 2)

3. Marvel vs. Capcom 2
(Not purely street fighter roster, but gameplay has most of its elements from the street fighter series, just simplified, extended to insane levels, and soaked-in comic book sprite work of the highest order)

4. Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact
(Slightly prettier but less perfected version of Third Strike)

5. Marvel vs. Capcom 1
(CPS-2 game evolving from SF2, but with aforementioned insane comic book sprite work, just a smaller roster. Added bonus: Insane 4p Cross fever mode) [4p simultaneous activated by both players reaching level 3 super and doing fireball back + both HK & HP]

I would say those are the top 5 Street Fighter games on Dreamcast. Note I didn’t include Vampire Chronicle for matching service, because despite being a clear CPS-2 evolution of SF2, it contains zero roster characters from street fighter lol

If we're including crossovers then you can't forget Capcom vs SNK 2!

I always wondered why Street Fighter Zero 3 (aka alpha 3) for matching service is that expensive nowadays..
Rarity or speculation ? Unfortunately the only interest of it (online feature) is pointless today :(
