Wow! I just watched the vid. That is some amazing work there. The first person view, really adds more scaryness to a game, that is already scary.

There's one of two ways to get this in English. Either someone replicates the code - that sounds long to me - in the US version, or you simply use the Chinese GDI but translate the text the way other fan translations have done. The benefit here being that the game already has an English translation, a modder would just need to put the correct English lines in the right place.

That being said, I'm assuming what's easier with literally zero knowledge

I found the memory values on memory for the first person camera on Code veronica X, still messing with it but someone will have to convert it to an hex patch.

So far works on the spanish translated version.

Here I provide a new hack made by YZB.
This new hack works perfect, loads all the textures, and repairs when you are grabbed by a zombie.

But when changing to first person it presents the same problem, it only loads the textures that have been loaded in 3rd person, you just have to leave the room and go back inside, and the new hack will work perfectly

If you already have the 1st hacked with a previous 1st person hack you just have to replace the values of position 0x203500 with these

Haven't played this game in like 15 years, though I did play through it many times back in the day. IIRC wasn't first person mode unlockable in the game, just not usable in the regular campaign until now?

on standar cv the fps mode is only on battle game. not in main game unless is hacked
