With jc BIOS you'd pop in any disc and bypass the region+VGA checks

OK Yes , now only other question is , Would it involve me needing to open my dreamcast and do board works ?

My final idea would be to just get a JAPAN Dreamcast so all the games I normally play would not need to do disc swaps perhaps only when I would play a lonely USA Game of NHL 2K ;)

DC-Live has been doing that you ship your Dreamcast and changes the BIOS

Anthony's been sayin you could make your own Dreamshell CDI and flash the BIOS with it! CD-R

AH OKAY , So Dreamshell would be the RT. I would go if I just buy US Dreamcast again.

OKAY So all I do is is BURN It on CD-R insert and Flash , No need for Motherboard modding and all that handy stuff ? thanks.

Where may I get the ISO at to burn then ? Thanks.

What happened to the old mod chips? They used to be dirt cheap and would do exactly what you want. I've had them in both my Dreamcasts for years. Google comes back dry on current sources for them though :(

Ah most likely maybe the disc. But no reason a disc should go bad after one year unless it gets scratched?

But yes bios mod and SD card reader are 2 different things.

Alright this will be my GAMEPLAN ,

Buy Japan Console , all the games I want are cheaper as JAPAN Import.

Then , I will get SD Reader and stick ISO's of AMERICAN SPORT Games on that.

You won't be able to run the sports (2K) games from the SD reader. The SD reader doesn't work with a lot of games, those included. Your best bet would be to just burn copies of them if you don't want to use a boot disc or get your console modded.

AH Okay , I will just make a Fresh Copy from American Original Disc. Play the burn copy.

I do know the ISO's are on the internet but you never want to risk virus etc and also sometimes they won't work.

Besides I like to have a MASTER Copy anyway ;)
