Seems all good, to me! I can't really think of a creative name, so something like "Worms World Party: Worms 2 Soundtrack Mod" works fine, with me.
EDIT: A bit silly of me to ask, but what region of the game did you use? NTSC, or PAL.

Re: How to mod Dreamcast games with CD Audio?
Yeah many times when you create things like this that dont work on emulators at all same with the unreleased games i made cdi's for..ShindouGo wrote:That's it, everything is ready but ... I don't know how to create a .GDI![]()
Someone have a tutorial on how to create a .GDI ?
Thank you in advance
Edit : I found buildGDI to do it but it doesn't work on my GDEmu
On emulator (demul), I get to the Dreamcast logo (with the WinCE image at the bottom right) then it crashes. I tested on my GDEmu and it puts me "unsupported disc"
Edit 2 : It's alright It works.
A video with the edited audio tracks. Does it sound ok ?

Edit 3 : What name do you want to your remix?

The problem is, it's a WinCE game and I know it would have been tricky for it to correctly detect the audio tracks.Ian Micheal wrote:Yeah many times when you create things like this that dont work on emulators at all same with the unreleased games i made cdi's for..ShindouGo wrote:That's it, everything is ready but ... ShindouGo, do you know how to edit Sega GT for instance? I have been wanting to do a car texture and soundtrack mod to the game for a few months now. A preliminary look at the files shows it is pretty difficult since the vehicle textures and audio is packed in proprietary files.

Sega GT seems to me to be a WinCE game with audio tracks too. For the modifications of audio tracks it is easy to do, as I have just done for Worms. For the modification of the textures of cars, I need to take a closer look.

I just looked for the textures : it's 4 STR0.BIN to STR3.BIN files that must contain the textures. I am unable to open them.

Well it's past midnight in France, I'm going to bed
I let the texture extraction run tonight. It is at more than 3000 images for the moment just on the 1st str0.bin file
Tomorrow morning I compress all that and I put you a link

AWESOME! Wow this is great! Thank you so much! Do you know how to add them back to the game after I edit them?
My idea was to maybe try and recreate some of the Fast and Furious cars in the game and maybe add in some of the famous songs from the movie series.
