The image may be bigger then 700 Mb, but once you load the image into alcohol for example it will show the actual size of the data and it will be smaller don't worry.
I felt the same when i saw PSO ISO size, but i was able to burn it into a standart cd-r with no problems.

oh
Thats great news! And does that apply to all games? Because ive even seen image files with close to 900 megas.. Even if they get smaller, do they still fit in a 700 standard cdr? I hope so!
Also, you just mention Alcohol 120.. Now, which is the best for burning? Most of the times i read about Disc Juggler.. Which does its job the best?

Both will do i guess, doesn't matter.
I use alcohol because i like it more, but it's not better.
Sure the big images will fit the disks, they were made to fit a CD-R (unless the creator says something different)

smith wrote:yes, the pc-dc dial up server does work. there are several members at dreamcast-talk that use a dial up server. my experience was with a win98 setup, and winroute. but I could easily setup a linux dial up server if i chose to do so. I have not meet any1 yet, who has been successful with setting up an XP dial up server.
The best thing possible is to have the BBA. I bought a BBA about 4 years ago for 120.00!! They are way over priced and not worth the money at all.
Buy whatever dreamcast you can find at the best price. Don't worry about the region if you are only going to play backups.
Well 120.00 to connect to the net to play PSO with like 4 guys is crazy, but I am attempting a method so that I host windows 98 and allow it to connect to the internet, it should work because virtual machines are very impressive and most of the time gather all the info correctly (besides drivers not working but all you honestly need is your wireless adapter and modem to work) if this works I could be online, I just got my modem today but I am swapped with other stuff, I will attempt it this afternoon I have seen several guides(including a youtube video from an OC member who obviously didn't respond to my comments).
As for the dreamcast situation, if you are trying to be a collector get yourself a legit DC with legit games, if you wanna play it (like 90% of the people who buy em) just get any dreamcast, pal jap usa, and burn the games... honestly if you wanna buy an expensive system to play it then that's honestly being an idiot xD, buy a 20USD dreamcast (usually NTSC-U system) and play the games, as for controllers I can provide you with 5 my local store sells the controllers for 10USD ^.^.

quick question: is there any pso copy around here that supports bba without any need to change settings via pc? I just got my dc but no vga box yet => have to play downstairs on the shitty tv. Router is close, but the pc downstairs uses linux.. fail, i know. and i had a quick look at the guide and saw the required tools are exes files. btw im surprised i do succesfully connect with planet web, but pso keeps trying to connect dial up like? and i was wondering if there was any version of the pso backup that would save me those config steps. i just wanna enjoy my off work days on pso till i get the vga box. thanks.
