I tried...
Are you sure? I've seen people that claim to have been successful using Windows XP.

I'm considering setting up a dual boot 98/xp system if I can't get this working.

It is voice capable I assume, it is a v.92 56k internal modem in my gateway notebook and I'm using some generic drivers for it. I am assuming it needs the line voltage simulator thing, so I'm going to try to make one.

Even if I make the voltage thing, am I going to need a live telephone jack? I currently am in college and we don't pay for phone service to our house. I hear no noises at all on my dreamcast when I hit connect.

Does anyone have a copy of Winroute Lite 4.x? I am looking all over the place for a copy of it, but I cannot find anything except the new versions and they don't have any of the same options mentioned in this guide.

Neoblast is 100% correct. I know no one who is running a PC-DC server with WinXP.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've acquired Windows 98 and will reformatting and making a dual boot system. I've given up on XP.
