R-type i used the Flashtro 1MB CHIP RAM fixed version to build that
not sure if all the levels are in, 6 for sure iirc
a couple of Amiga games uses the extra RAM to store the assets, to avoid the loading each time
basically you need to made the uss state when you have reached a later level, after a game over
or directly at the end of the game, when restarting
