Mickschen sells lvi´s for PAL consoles that get the power from 56k usb modem. he could probably upgrade yours.

Ok, opened the lvi and there's no battery inside, in fact it should be usb powered...

guess i'm kinda stuck now...

It is possible to build PAL lvi´s that get their power from the usb 56k modem. the wizard only sells them only for ntsc consoles though.

Try to check out the capacitor and resistor of the circuit. The capacitor may have lost its capacitance.
