ok, close terminal
open Applications->Internet->putty ssh client
setup as on sreenshot and press Open

I can't put any command in. Every time I type, the data light on the modem turns on briefly and nothing else.

how many lights are on the modem?
did you take the modem out of the usb and put it back in?

There are 2 lights, one for power and one for data.
And yeah, I unplugged and replugged- Now it's giving me ERROR every time I try to do a command.

Immensely suffering getting online, does anyone have ideas?
