I can't fix it because the problem is not in openmenu.
the only thing I can say is that Xenocider GDI can be added without problems via GDMENU Card manager and works great in openmenu

so i had a gdi of xenocider and it did add to openmenu but it just crashes my dreamcast when i try to run it, the one on my gdmenu card works fine though

There are no easy ways, it is forbidden to post images of commercial homebrew games on this forum, but there is an image of this game in GDI on the Internet

is there an easy way to make a gdi of the game? i have cdi and a disc copy but they never offered a gdi version for download
Tested the DEMO version of Xenocider and it works with the new openMenu/Scroll and the OG GDMENU.

This OpenMenu only works with GDEmu right?
Sorry to be offtopic, but can anyone recommend a place where I can buy a clone with the latest firmware? (as I read that the clones cannot be updated)

I am the owner of the original GDEMU and I am using firmware 5.14.0, I see no point in updating

Thanks.
I see them on AliExpress for like 85 to 100 euros.
They the ones around 100 euros ship with 5.20.3 or 5.20.5 (one of them can be upgraded by following a specific procedure according to the item description).
And the ones around 85 euros ship with 5.15.
I think the 5.20.x ones have some timing fix for certain games.
Or would you recommend to buy from another shop?

There is only one game that cannot be held without correction, this is the Resident Evil Code Veronica, all other games are passable.
YZB has released a patch for Resident Evil Code Veronica and now it goes without problems on GDEMU with the old version of FW.
Let's figure out what is the difference between a patch and a new version of FW.
FW 5.20.X reduces the data transfer speed for problem games, thereby increasing the boot time.
The patch corrects the error of the developers of the game, the download speed remains high.
Are you ready to pay more for longer downloads or prefer to correct the error of the game developers and pay less?

megavolt85 has there been a patch to fix the freeze glitch in SoA during intro on FW's below 5.20? If not, then that's the only reason left to update it, that is, if it bothers some people.
I'm on 5.20.5 official fw using official hardware and I understand why you never updated. It was kinda tricky to update using the new fw updater before updating the fw to 5.20. I'm not gonna lie I was quite nervous because of the mention of a possible brick if you did it incorrectly. lol But I'm glad it updated fine and it has been smooth updating ever since 5.20 -> 5.20.5 normally with no need of using any new fw updaters before updating the fw.
Btw, thank you for all your contributions and excellent work here, man.

"Sakura Wars: Columns 2" and "Nakoruru: The Gift She Gave Me" both have mild texture stutters at certain moments on GDEMU. However, setting read_limit parameter in INI To 1250 solves issue (forcing GD-ROM-like read speeds).
In FW 5.20.5, Deunan added both of these games to his hardcoded list after I reported my findings.
If you don't care for the hardcoded list baked into the firmware, I understand. However, at the very least I appreciate the introduction of the read_limit parameter in version 5.20.0.
Just my opinion
