Re: Boot disc issues
Ah. Never mind, I found the slot. Sorry to both of you. It's embarrassing that both questions I've posted are things I could have solved without help.

Re: Boot disc issues
No problem. I have the type "b" and I almost did not see the 3.5mm audio port. It kind of sits in a not-so obvious spot next to the VGA output cord. Glad to see you're all set.

Re: Boot disc issues
Correct me if i am wrong but i believe that utopia (unofficial) V 1.2 forces VGA mode.

Re: Boot disc issues
No, in fact, none of the utopia discs even work with vga signal... the only disc that forces VGA on games is DC-X

what about DChakker and xploder/codebreaker. way back when i first got a VGA box i used DChakker to swap non VGA games before i knew of other discs. i must say that codebreaker is way easier than DChakker, because DChakker is harder to understand. you have to select the correct file and hit the right combo of buttons

That's exactly why DC-X is betterGary_b wrote:cOcOoO wrote:No, in fact, none of the utopia discs even work with vga signal... the only disc that forces VGA on games is DC-X![]()

Besides, DC-X can force VGA on non-VGA games like REC:V PAL and 60hz on some pal games that couldn't be forced in any other way (REC:V and some others can't be forced, tho)
