Aye, I know what that is now. I forgot about that game.
Btw, anybody know anything about if Little Ninja will ever come out? I think the guy's over at yuan works were going to see how well W&W: Puzzle Battles was going to do at first, before thet put any more time into it.

I still don't know how well W&W puzzle battle sold. No numbers have ever been released. I do recall though that Play-Asia.com restocked it once. So that means the first print sold out and God knows how many units Red Spot games pushed through their doors.Anthony817 wrote:Aye, I know what that is now. I forgot about that game.

Age of the Beast looks interestings but I hope it's not like those mugen brawlers we see now a days. I really didn't like the homebrew Golden axes and splatterhouses.
and does anyone have a link to any Femme Fatal screenshots?

Re: Femme Fatale - New DC Game
Upon analyzing this game concept, I can trully say without a doubt that it will be impossible to make.
The hardware of the Dreamcast simply cannot support software like this, especially in the programming aspect. Most of the software repository for the Dreamcast is lost and most of it needs to be hard coded, especially for the client/server aspect and 3D graphics engine, which I might add is incredibly difficult to make unless they're harvesting source code from another first person shooter, which may be the case.
I think this game will easily fizzle out. They'll soon realize what they're trying to do is far beyond the capability of what the Dreamcast could ever possibly handle with its current hardware state.
As for us, we're allowing the Dreamcast's limitations to be our driving point and cleverly finding 'work arounds' that enhance the efficiency of the hardware or adapt it to new situations.
Take for example, the modem of the Dreamcast, most people don't have dial up services anymore, so its considered obsolete hardware. So what we have planned is to actually plug the Dreamcast's modem cable into your PC desktop or laptop in which the modem signal will modulate through the Dreamcast into the PC desktop or laptop and then get 'converted' into a different signal, be it DSL, cable, fiber; anything.

Would this be as ardous to set up as the current DC to PC server work around that is instructed on this site?RETICON wrote:Take for example, the modem of the Dreamcast, most people don't have dial up services anymore, so its considered obsolete hardware. It should be easier in theory if we get it to work right.Anthony817 wrote:Would this be as ardous to set up as the current DC to PC server work around that is instructed on this site?RETICON wrote:Take for example, the modem of the Dreamcast, most people don't have dial up services anymore, so its considered obsolete hardware. It will run on its own, self driven application. Just pop in the CD, install a tiny program and execute it, hopefully.
the 'bridge application' may be programmed in java, but we haven't reached that point yet.
