In all honesty I would use a straight out auction for all of them, make sure you list them properly (i.e correct title names/No spelling errors)
I've had a look at the updated list with the other bits on, tbh the VGA and the arcade stick are probably worth the most, I would probably list the console along with all the peripherals together, many with a couple of games
Ive attached you list and have put the games in red that I would sell individually
Im in the uk myself but I think its a pretty average mix on the forums of UK and U.S

Re: Dreamcast Games for Sale...HELP!!
I honestly suggest you DON'T sell it (yet), most folks have to work years & years to get such a collection. I've had my dc since launchday & even my own collection is still lacking a few things. the dc is an awesome console & its really worth having & exploring, even in this ps3/360 age (you got all the stuff there, hook it up to a hdtv with that vgabox, put in a game & prepare to be blown away, I'm not kidding you).
if you decide to sell it anyway, DON'T sell it as a lot, there's some games there that are "worthless", but also some that are (still) going for big bucks.
if you're selling anyway, there's a few (5 or so) games in there I still need, so feel free to let me know (btw, I'm in europe as well)
but really...don't sell it,just enjoy it; and I mean that

mayu

Re: Dreamcast Games for Sale...HELP!!
Thats what did, except I did all the NTSC games, PAL exclusives, and Japanese exclusives.mazonemayu wrote:no anthony, going for the complete PAL collection+NTSC us games that weren't released in europe (+26 or so I believe) and then the rest of the NTSC jap games that weren't released in both other regions. > which is basically the entire dc collection indeed, but focussed on PAL region![]()
I warn you now...Japanese exclusives are so...so...so damn hard...

Re: Dreamcast Games for Sale...HELP!!
there is a few ways that you can go about selling it all. the easiest is to sell it all off as one big lot. if you sell it all at once you will get far less for it though. the 2nd easiest way would be to make smaller lots made of a mix of cheap and expensive games to sell off in groups. or you can sell everything off individually. the larger the lots the less you will make but, you will spend less time trying to sell it. so it is up to you. do you want more money or do you want to save time? some say time is money, so idk what to tell ya.

This is an international forum, but I guess you see more Americans because I think the Dreamcast was more successful in North America than in other regions.

Re: Dreamcast Games for Sale...HELP!!
I wouldn't be so sure about that, the estimated mumbers for dreamcast sales back in the day were:
japan 3 million
north america 4 million
europe 2 million
now if you know that europe (specially the europe of 10 years ago) was/is 3 times smaller than north america, the dc did better here, numbers wise.
but then again, for some reason us euro people always had a soft spot for sega consoles

Re: Dreamcast Games for Sale...HELP!!
Hello again. Forgive the time lapse but have been so very busy. I have now considered all options and have decided to go ahead and sell them. Thankyou so much for helping me out with this. At the start of this I really didn't know what to do with them and can now admit I actually came incredibly close to placing them in the skip!! However, I have managed now to take photos of all products, 161 of them!! I will get around eventually to posting them on ebay and when I do, I will post a prompt here. I would like to thank mazonemayu , adamkoralik and ollie3146 in particular for their replies which were really helpful. A very special thank you to all of you.I really appreciated you taking the time to help me. I have had a lot of fun reading and participating in this forum, even for this brief time and have learnt more than I could have imagined!!! But as I said previously I am not a gamer and so will leave that all to you chaps. I suppose now is as good a time as any, to confess I'm not a guy, I'm a girl!!When I had to choose a user name, there were so many cool, mean and odd sounding ones out there that I opted for Roman (name of my dog!!!) just to fit in....don't laugh!! I struggled to upload all the photos and have given up. I will deal with that on ebay. However, I do have a file with the photos of the accessories, if anyone is interested. Follow this link. Hopefully it will work. http://angelhepburn.jalbum.net/Dreamcast-Accessories . In the meantime, I am off on holiday tomorrow for a fortnight, so will contact you again on my return and when I have set the items up on ebay.
