Yup, I know. But the thing is that I have a cable internet connection and I don't believe that there is an adapter for that.

Actually you have a couple of options. You could purchase a Broadband adapter for the Dreamcast that will allow you to connect with your broadband isp (check ebay for those). You can set up a PC-DC Server, a bit confusing(personally couldnt get it working) :

http://dreamcast-talk.com/isplist.htmlor pay for a cheap one. You can't go the dial up isp route if you have VOIP phone like I do (i got screwed, hehe).
The BBA option is the expensive one. Look to pay in the ballpark of $100-160. It was my only option so I went for it after I got VOIP phone.

I've got my Dreamcast in December of 01. But I sold it in 2003 for PS2 games (ironic). So I went back in 2006 to the same place I sold my DC, and bought it back, it seemed to be in prime condition. And from there, I went on eBay looking for all the games I used to have before the PS2 days. I still regret selling it, but I was really young then, and didn't know all the capabilities of the DC.

on launch: I wanted to buy one the first day, but they were all sold out.
A week later a friend comes over asking me if I wanted to buy his dreamcast which he purchased a week earlier (with almost everything it came out with over here), coz he needed money for a new guitar (he was he stort of guy who buys everything, just to show off agains his friends). He wanted what he paid for it, games, vmu, extra controller included. I said I'd only give him 1/3 of the original price, take it or leave it. After some hassle, I got it for 1/2 of the price

Bought my 1st on launch day but sold it years later after moving on to the newer consoles....after a while I came to regret that decision....so after going on an all out Dreamcast hunt I now have in my possession 6 Dreamcast's...
Yeah I know I don't need that many but when out rounding up games, vmu's, controllers, and anything else DC the sellers would not sell any items from the console's separately...the good news is I paid around 20$ for each package some even cheaper than that...

Got my lightgun in a package deal, got my fishing controller in a package deal, got 2 driving wheels in a huge but cheap package deal. I have about 30 original games with no cd cases or manuals and around 32 complete original games in the cd cases.
I couldn't tell you how many vmu's and controllers I have but plaenty for sure, I don't have the arcade stick and right now it's my "Moby Dick" if you know what i mean...
