I see it more like an impressive interactive tech demo rather than a completed game. There's enough eye candy to keep me interested in whatever form it's in at present. I'm sure I'll enjoy the ride.

There is an incredible amount of detail in the models and especially the the background textures. As someone else has said the graphics are reminiscent of a late Xbox game rather than an early Dreamcast one.
It has some pretty nice graphics, heck from watching the footage Id suspect the floor has bump mapping maybe. But its no where near xbox though. But that doesnt stop me from being anxious to get my copy in a couple of weeks.Just to compare though, panzer dragon orta a really early xbox game from sega that from the same genre to boot, mops the floor with geist force:

Yeah mate, maybe I was going over the top describing it as looking like a late Xbox game  Those screens from Panzer Dragoon remind me how powerful a machine it was for the era. I suppose when comparing the graphics of the two machines it should be noted that the Xbox had over three times the amount of RAM as the DC plus it's central processor was around three times the clockspeed of Dreamcast.

So yeah, I was getting carried away with Geist Force hyperbole. In Top Trumps terms, the Xbox would pawn the DC in almost every category but it's still fun to talk about it :)

Is there a proposed cover for this release. If there is I'd like to see it :)

Sevin0seven - Racketboy forum - made one on my request.

He added the text I sent him.

Text is made up of all the bits and pieces I could find online...

Wow, that's a pretty good effort. You've done well to arrange it all so cheers for that and don't forget to thank Sevin0seven for me.

I like the fact that you've included some explanation about it's release in the write up. It gives it some historical context.

Well, I can only take credit for the top part of the text. The 'historical context' part was Sevin0seven's idea...

But it's a nice little extra touch indeed... ^^

I will send him a PM with this link.

By the way, for a small donation you can get a high res version of this cover from him. It's just a PM away... ;)
