Oh well. I can't think of any other reason why my copy wouldn't work. Then again it doesn't make much sense that they'd completely remove the ability to use VGA in the newer All Stars version.

Yeah it really doesn't make a lick of sense, even more so that Mazonemayu has confirmed that even the PAL version is VGA compatible. I'd like to buy an All Stars Variant but money is a lil tight at the moment and I already own 3 regular Hydro Thunder games on the DC already!

I have that same problem when it comes to sonic adventure limited edition
(though I'll prolly cough it up in the end, knowing myself

Does the type of Bootdisk make any difference to being able to force vga output ? I've tried certain games using BLAZE but often wondered if others would be more successful.
