yep, and personally I think the aiming system in Carrier is far better than that of RE

Here's the video Neohound mentioned a few posts back.

It looks like it would have been awesome! It's really too bad it was cancelled.

Virtua Athlete 2000
The Virtua Tennis guys made this. Presumably the entire studio was kidnapped and murdered and replaced with cheap clones.

I've heard that it's not very good. If you really want an athletics fix on Dreamcast then it's probably best to check out Sydney 2000 or that remade old fave from past generations ESPN Track & Field. All these types of games should warn of bleeding finger syndrome. Good fun back in the day but I don't think my fingers are up to that kind of relentless bashing anymore.Comrade Snarky wrote:Virtua Athlete 2000

I watched that vid of Agartha (that pcwzrd posted up the page) again and it looks well scary to me. Spooky music and an eary atmosphere. Games with that kind of ambition are rarely attempted nowadays
If I ever win the Lotto, I'll PAY for it to be finished
D2 has it's scary moments and occasionally I jumped whilst playing it. Fantastic game. It's only available in US and Japan but Pal gamers should import the US game and play it with a boot disk. Highly recommended.

I don't have much of an interest in athletic events type games. I just had to review it for the ReviveDC Project. It was really bad.Neohound wrote:I've heard that it's not very good. Re: Scariest game on the Dreamcast?
Haha I read the review, sounds like you gave it too high a score though
Games like that originated in the early 1980's. By the turn of the millenium the gameplay was very outdated and really it shows how lazy and clueless the developers were to be making games like that for the DC.
