Spaceship and Palace weren't designed to be used in the regular game, so they aren't complete areas. You can use them in non-Battle quests, but some of the maps lack the collision data that keeps monsters in their rooms. As a result, the monsters will follow you around forever, but if they leave the room they spawned in, you can't target them anymore. It prevents you from hiding in hallways for safety, but as long as you kill everything in its proper room, the areas work quite well outside of Battle mode.DCUltrapro wrote:how is it you can play in the areas? Hey, what's this new SCHTserv update about? I heard that it lets you go online with USv2? I tried reading the post but didn't really understand, could someone explain it to me?

Re: PSOv2 - What do I feed my Mag for more POW and DEF?
I still dont understand how its possible that you can access them though, I mean, originally, what were they used for within PSOv2? I can't ever remember seeing them in the game in any capacity. I can understand if people have found a way to access them through other means but surely the data must have been there for a reason to begin with?Aleron Ives wrote:Spaceship and Palace weren't designed to be used in the regular game, so they aren't complete areas. Like i said, other then warping to the area with tools or comands, you either play the quests or you play versus.

While schtserv shares the same update, it doesn't benefit them at all as no one plays there anymore, i sugest comming to sylverant because that's where players are.

Re: PSOv2 - What do I feed my Mag for more POW and DEF?
Ok so your saying those maps are available to be played in quests in PSO ver 2 right? What I mean is; those maps, were they ever included in any part of the game for the public to actually use/see or are those quests things you/someone else have built using clever ways of accessing those maps? Or was there actually a legit way of getting to them, if only to look at them? I just find it hard that those maps would have been included in the code but never playable under normal circumstancesK_I_R_E_E_K wrote:Like i said, other then warping to the area with tools or comands, you either play the quests or you play versus.

oh and another thing, when we talk about maps do you mean the 2 areas that appeared in PSO ep1 on the xbox? The 2 VR levels/areas, your not referring to new variations of the same old 4 levels are you?

Re: PSOv2 - What do I feed my Mag for more POW and DEF?
Like i said, 2 quests contain those areas, in one the area is empty and the other one faces problems with targeting enemies.Ok so your saying those maps are available to be played in quests in PSO ver 2 right?
The quests are custom made, and they use those map areas.
Versus or battle mode is original content, you can battle someone else and the areas used are spaceship and temple.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHyfD9qPeU0
The areas only became fully playable (with enemies, goals, bosses, music for the 2 parts...) in ep2 that was released for GC/xbox
If you want to look at them, play battle mode, request screenshots of the areas, ask a GM to warp you there, get trainers to warp there or play the quests.
Resuming, spaceship and temple are used for battle mode and are 2 areas included in PSO ep2

yes, those areas and quests were accessible officially and sega made them, i think that they are online only though. i think that Sega made them as an online expansion of V2. also the games artwork mentions the new quests and areas created for V2 somewhere if i remember correctly.

ok thanks guys, Kireek mentions that you can only see them in the way they were intended via VS mode, do you pick the map or work your way to it? I don't know how vs works, soz!

Once you select battle mode, if your with someone, you will notice you can bump into eachother and if you go to forest you can actually target your teammate, sort of friendly fire.
If you go to the guild counter, all quests are replaced with battle mode rules/quests, pick one and play.
Here's a list of rules, includes maps, objective and area it's played on

Re: PSOv2 - What do I feed my Mag for more POW and DEF?
cool some of them look wicked! So are they all friendly fire or can you play some of them as if they were a horde or zombie mode? I guess not as that would technically just be the normal play mode. Oh well, I am severely tempted to go into that mode just to check them out again
thanks for all the info dude!
back on topic! (my bad
) so OP are you looking for a particular type of mag? Did you try out the farm or the website mentioned?
