I'm considering selling 80% of my games collection.. ideas?

Yeah hang on to them. Periodically I think about trimming my collection and removing the games I don't play and never had any interest in (IE: my friends got me an unwanted bday present). Unfortunately, I want to hang on to all the "expensive" DC games, and sell a few worthless ones.

For example, I don't really like the DC copy of Maken X or Unreal Tournament I have (just not really a fan of FPSs). But, if I sold either on ebay or amazon, I probably wouldn't get more than $4 for it. Take out the commission fees for using those websites and I'll be getting paid $2 or $3 to take an hour out of my day and put it in a package, bring it to the post office, etc. At that rate, I think I would get more than $2 worth of enjoyment out of just keeping it around and looking at the manual cover in my pile of games from time to time (Actually I do like the Maken X manual cover, it looks pretty neat).

yeah when you think about the % of games across my collection that might make me a nice amount of money, the VAST majority of those are the ones I wanna keep hold of most! the only console I might make a nice lump of cash from is my Jaguar which I spent a bucket load on collecting for. I could probably get 60-80 quid on most of the titles, such as Towers 2, Iron Soldier 2, AVP, Phase Zero, Sky Hammer etc, but its not really worth the hassle and time that it would take at the moment

If worst came to worst and I had no alternative I'd do it as I wouldn't have a choice. But until that day comes I will just keep em for now I think
