Not necessarily. Some people get their BBAs in lots, with the seller not knowing what they have. That's what Adam Koralik did.

Oh, I certainly know of people who have gotten BBAs in lots. I actually found one for a good friend online and let him have first stab at it (Dreamcast + 6-8 games, 4 controllers, 2 lightguns, and a BBA, all for $60 including shipping).

Hell, I paid a total of $60 for the two BBAs I own (no, they didn't come together).

I took a more impatient route, paying $190 for mine. Should arrive tomorrow, by the way. But yeah, when it comes to rarities, it's always a good idea to check eBay's little "include description" box to find such lots.

Another good idea is to search for more obscure title keywords, putting them all in parentheses and separating them with commas. In this case, your search might look like:

"dreamcast (broadband, broad band, bba, lan, ethernet)"

This will herald the most results.
