Re: VGA Incompatible Games
Just tested Gunbird 2 (NTSC-U) last night, and it seems to load flawlessly via Sylverant PSO patcher disk. On the other hand, the TV I was using, DEFINATELY butchered the VGA signal, but that's irrelevant.
I'm tellin' you guys, Sylverant makes a very good bootdisk.

Re: VGA Incompatible Games
^Yeah, it's a fun game. hard, but fun.
Also, I would appreciate it if you (or anybody else) tried to reproduce this, just in case something weird is going on with my hardware (I don't suspect this or anything, but you never know). Up to you though. Note that the screen went black for a couple of seconds after the Psikyo and the Capcom logos, but it did ultimately work. I might actually try again, as well, next time I get a chance.

Re: VGA Incompatible Games
I have read your posts about forcing BGA with DC-X or Codebreaker.
I have the CDX Action Replay CD (original stuff with special memory card). If i boot with it, i can force a game in PAL or NTSC (in which case the DC reboots with a red swirl instead of blue), but i don't see VGA.
I would like to try the NBA on NBC game because it seems to be a sequel to NBA Jam, and unfortunately CDX won't allow him to boot with my VGA box (either PAL or NTSC setting).
Would a DCX or Codebreaker be different?

Re: VGA Incompatible Games
I don't know this for sure, but based on reading this thread, Gunbird 2 will boot in VGA with some bootdisks and not others, so It's probably at least worth trying. You could try Sylverant PSO patcher too, as it functions as an import-loader / bootdisk as well.Xanxi wrote:I have read your posts about forcing BGA with DC-X or Codebreaker.

I've burnt Sylverant boot disc. It boots mu PSO v1 great but it sticks at reading ip.bin with nba on nbc.

Re: VGA Incompatible Games
Ah. That's a shame. You could try DCHakker or Utopia, but I've never had any luck doing anything with DCHakker, or tried Utopia. You never know, though.Xanxi wrote:I've burnt Sylverant boot disc. It boots mu PSO v1 great but it sticks at reading ip.bin with nba on nbc.
