yeah I ended up pre-ordering it a couple weeks ago. I'm still on the fence about the strategy guide though.

They charged my card as well. I wrote on their board, supposedly the game is just as difficult but they fixed the save feature a bit, hopefully I can play this without pulling my hair out.

The older I get the less time I have for long RPGs. though I really wanted to play this one =)

Looks like it got delayed again, I think until the end of April it seems according to their FB.

I missed the kickstarter way back, but the game is available to pre-order on the Watermelon website and I am considering putting an order in. I am really excited about this release seeing how few non-shmups get released, but I'm a little reluctant seeing how many delays there have been.

Does anyone have any news or rough ideas on when Pier Solar HD will actually see the light of day?

They've been flat out ignoring everyone who comments about the Dreamcast release on any of their facebook or Kickstarter posts for the last few months. In fact, I could be wrong, but haven't they already released it on a bunch of platforms? Is the Dreamcast the only one waiting?

Basically WaterMelon has a track record of not delivering their projects on time, which -personally- is fine by me, since they really care for the tiniest details and really go out of their ways to make all of their projects epic. My suggestion is -if you have the funds- to just pre-order, because most likely once the product is ready to ship the first shipment will be sold out.

They send out emails every couple of weeks to those that preordered Pier Solar on their website in some form (the Genesis reprint, the DC release, PC).

The reprint is being manufactured, and that run should be completed December 23rd. As for the DC version, they just said they're "still in the making." Apparently they're including extras related to Pier Solar to make up for the delay.

This has been the situation for the past couple months, unfortunately, due to some internal error or misunderstanding or something. Usually it was KS backers who got the most updates. It should all be fixed from now on.
