yeah i was talking about the port on the DC. the cord as well as the Dreamcast. if the cord is new then it could be the DC. and it might not have been pushed in tight enough. i use a VGA box and i let it hang behind my desk. so some times it gets wiggled lose after a while. when this happens i can lose picture or sound.

i just reread your original post and you say that you have sound in the Dreamcast's menus? if this is the case then i highly doubt that it is your cords or the connections!

Yeah, it's just all sorts of messed up. I will find out what's goings on, once a game arrives. Until then, my 360 does have sound, and Gears 2 is kicking a senseless amount of copious ass. Heh heh. Peace.

Sooo, Jet Grind Radio arrived today and it only worked half assed. I'm assuming it's my DC, which sucks, but now I know. Once again, thanks for the help boys. Peace out, and enjoy your Easter weekend.

Thanks, hope you had a great Easter.

Sorry to hear about your DC troubles. I"m not sure what could be the problem but at least DC's are cheap 8-) .

Just got a new DC, but have yet to test it. It should be fine, considering it seems to be in much better condition. Thanks for all the help, boys. Peace.
