i use a japanese dreamcast va1 review together with a gdemu clone version 5.15b and a 4gb class 4 sd card and the game is showing freezes in attract mode and arcade mode after a few rounds.

I have yes and it still freezes.
Is your GDEMU offical or a clone? And is your Dreamcast PAL or NTSC?
Hoping someone can look into the freezing eventually and removing the filtering on the sprites then it will be perfect.

For mine, NTSC DC, original GDemu, Kingston SD class 10. no freeze.

Kingston 4GB MicroSD SDHC Class 4 on GDEMU clone first gen, no issues or stuttering or any performance problems that I could see. I have an NTSC-U system.
