Yes, in some programs, supported by an extended set was added, but it would rather exception than the rule
You can try to mount your image in Daemon Tools and you will see that your image is not working.
Redump is the worst sample to follow, their images are just terrible
Updated post. Thanks.
App to convert BIN/CUE to GDI, with an option for CHD format - for gd-rom images in BIN/CUE format only (no mil-cd unlicensed images).

it is high quality movie than sold player. http://www.dcemulation.org/pay-dcvcd.htm

While I'm not here to update everyone that I actually took the time to remove the IR receiver check from DreamMovie, I did create this little video this morning to show it working with GDEMU! I figured some here might get a kick out of it.

Nice video!

I wish this player could be hacked, so we can also uses for SEGA KARA modification, like we doing now with modest XING HONG VCD player.

ateam, can you make a test?

I'm uploading images of my original Sega Karaoke VCDs, made by Brazilian Tectoy, so I want to know if my CDI images are OK. If you can test with GDEMU + DreamMovie

Btw, are you aware you can now, using Karaoke add-on, to play VCDs with microphones enabled? :)

So I tested VCD_SEGA_VideoKaraoke_INTERNACIONAL_1.cdi, but unfortunately wasn't able to get any of the tracks to play successfully. Below is a video of my attempt in action.

Thank you man!

I can tell you the very first Sega Tectoy VCDs has an old primitive VCD encoding, seems DreamMovie can't handle.

Maybe better for Internacional2 and later, and Multioke Versions.

Great to see it running on GDEMU!

I’m still hopeful that one day someone will remove the IR check. If someone successfully does it I’ll send you a bunch of VCDs as a thank you gift! :lol:

Alright, so here's the results of the tests:
  • VCD_EnterSoft_Multioke_INTERNACIONAL_2.cdi = DOES NOT WORK
    VCD_SEGA_VideoKaraoke_INTERNACIONAL_2.cdi = WORKS
    VCD_Tectoy_VideoKaraoke_INT_4.cdi = WORKS
