Elansar & Philia are not my cup of tea. Can't wait to play ghost blade.
I think I'm gonna have to get me a copy of Elysian shadows too. It looks interesting in retrospect.

Some sites say its due for release tomorrow and others says its the 27th. Best check Hucast then.
Rather excited about this one; that said Sturmwind is a hard act to follow.

It was originally meant to release tomorrow, but Hucast pushed it to the 27th about a month ago.

For those that haven't heard, the regular and limited editions of Ghost Blade were officially released yesterday. Notice I only said regular and limited editions. Those of us, myself included, that preordered the collectors/supporter edition of Ghost Blade will have to wait until at least November. Rene says this is because the guy recording the playthrough for the Super Play DVD can't record it yet. Of course he waits until the release to say anything.
So the people that preordered first are the last to receive their preorders.
I emailed Rene (a continuation actually from an email exchange two years ago) to confirm my preorder for the CE version. Two years ago my order was listed as the LE version, which cost less than what I paid. I inquired, and after some backwards math of explain the price from Rene, I said I wanted to cancel my order. He then assured me I preordered the collectors/supporter edition and it was a glitch in their ordering system.
In my email yesterday in confirming my Ghost Blade preorder, I also expressed disappointment in how Hucast is handling Ghost Blade's launch, especially after the disaster (in my opinion) with the ReDux Kickstarter and launch, and that after I receive my order for Ghost Blade, I wouldn't be ordering from Hucast anymore.
To Rene's credit he emailed me back right away. However he didn't confirm my order or edition, didn't address my concerns, and all he wrote was, "Thanks for the heads up

."
I emailed back clarifying that people like me want to support companies like his because we all love the Dreamcast, but between ReDux, all the revisions to seemingly take advantage of DC fans willingness to purchase DC stuff, the overpricing of Alice's Mom's Rescue, now the wonky release of Ghost Blade, and the all to common problem of lack of communication (or lack in being upfront about things) and lac of respect to his customers/fans, how can we now be disappointed, frustrated, and yes even mad?
I'm done with Hucast.

@DCGX Granted there is a milking of the remaining dc market but their output is pretty good. Dc wise I'll take what I can get. Alice mom's rescue seemed like an easy port and a quick way to make a buck.It was too pricey for what was really a budget game.
That said, the market is what it is. Hucast need some proper competition, I kid you not. This will make them kick things up a gear.
Some of the sloppiness could be due to stretching themselves too thin perhaps? They are a two man outfit.
I cannot fault Ghost blade though, it's looking like a top notch game for the Dreamcast.
It's very sloppy to mess up the release of the special edition like that, particularly because The ghost blade was long delayed. That was silly.
Still, I'm in for redux 2 but redux and all of it's bastard offspring look shit!!!
Neo xyz was a good shooter though the game breaking bug meant I never got to finish it, pain in the arse.

I have bad experience with Hucast too...
I ordered early in august Alice's Mom's Rescue RE + Elanar & Philia RE but still not receive it so i asked if it was shpiped since it is still maked as PayPal payment received in account information and any shipping information needed before going to post and asking them to search for it. I am trying to get any straight answer for weeks now and they still cannot confirm that it was shipped. This is very disappointing since i was loyal Hucast customer for years.

Sounds like they may be stretching themselves too thin. Maybe they need a new employee
I hope you get your games from them in the end. They should give you a discount if it's their own fault, considering you say that their communication has been poor thus far.

Just ordered the limited edition, let's just hope it doesn't turn out to be the same disaster ordering from redspotgames...
