Interesting theories there dj. I would think Microsoft would have kept the SEGA name though rather than using their own. Mainly because Microsoft was not known for gaming at that point but SEGA was. Plus I think most SEGA fans at that time would have been more likely to buy a SEGA branded console than a Microsoft one.

Thanks for the suggestion about the Saturn 2. I'll keep that in mind but I'm not sure that's something I'd want to do. I don't want all my I'm Talking videos to be speculation. I just decided to do it for this one.

Just uploaded my latest video, an interactive look at the Dreamcast PC Preview disc that was included with issue #1 of the Official Dreamcast Magazine. Enjoy!

I still don't get the "It's still thinking" launching motto/slogan in the English markets, does someone care to explain?

To me, "it's still thinking" means that it is slow in processing... :|

It's still thinking about how it's going to beat the competition or it could also mean it's not dead (if you're still thinking then obviously you're still alive). That's the way I think of it anyway.

I don't see how that can be a positive thing for the Dreamcast.
If you're (still) thinking on how to beat your competition, mostly it's because you don't have trumps to beat them. That's how I see it at least...

I understand that, but that only applies after the console was discontinued, and wasn't that phrase a slogan back in the launch days?

In Europe (Portugal at least) the slogan was "With more than a billion players connected worldwide" because every person with an internet connection around the world could be a possible Dreamcast online gamer, which in my opinion makes much more sense.

Not exactly. "It's still thinking" is a play on the original slogan which was "You know it's alive. Worst, it know's it's alive. It's thinking." Here's the original commercial:
