if you go through the steam community page on the game it seems like it launched broken there too, game fairy definitely knows its broken though they addressed it almost a month ago now but that was it. someone claiming to be the dev of the port commented on one of the reddit posts about the pre orders said that it was hell.

Big yikes. I hope Gamefairy/Headup properly address this but I’m not holding my breath. :(

Update from Gamefairy:
Headup and their porting partner are currently working on the issues reported for the Textorcist. In the meantime we are working on a solution to deliver the fixed version to all of you affected. We‘re really sorry for the inconvenience!

Let’s hope the fix is an actual replacement disc and not something like “here’s a disc image with the fixes, go burn a copy”.

I'm a little surprised to hear this, but it is welcome. I agree. I hope it's a replacement disc. Otherwise there wasn't any point to doing a retail release and people wanting to own it.

lol

was thinking, in the extremely worst scenario, possibly the DC passionate community will try to fix this faulty game,
when the times will permit this of course

I'm pretty sure that would happen if GameFairy just washed their hands of the whole thing but seems they might be trying to find a fix so hold that thought.
