Thoroughly enjoyed getting back on Q3 with a couple of you guys, thanks for the games! For some reason my controller kept not letting me use the on screen kb so i couldnt say anything, happened again not long after i reconnected.

I still prefer to use Ive's patched auto connect fast load disc, comes with extra crap map pack enhancement thing and i think it uses the high quality 44Khz audio files pulled from the xbox version instead of the 22khz dreamcast files. It works really well I just never liked how much 'grinding' the dc does to load just the characters. This fast load compiled disc is a lot more efficient

I Also hope we start that wed game night up again we should just play on our own anyway, I still try to make it on pso saturdays but today i have paintball so i wont be able to play =)

I tried to join but I fell a sleep, when I checked at 5am it was to late . Hopefully next time I will be able to stay awake. I wish there was more GMT players.

Does that disc connect straight to the Sylverant server?

I do not know if the guys at DC-Arena.de in Germany still play Q3 or not. You may want to see if they still play. This gives you a few more hours over the USA.

So i shall be recieving my usb modem in the mail tomorrow or the next day. Hopefully I can get everything setup properly. Am i going to need a phone line for quake 3?

If you still have dial up internet then it should work, otherwise you will need either the BBA or set up a DC-PC server, theres a tutorial on how to do that on this forum somewhere.
