Neohound, the specs on that card look right. I have a similar one. Only issue with those pci cards is that they aren't really portable. I like the usb ones because you can just plug them into a laptop anywhere.

My card is the avermedia game broadcaster HD. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6815100098

I know this is probably a stupid question, but has anyone posted a HD video of Street Fighter III 3rd Strike on this topic?

Oh right, no I didn't notice it wasn't portable but I see what you mean, for a laptop you need either pci express or USB.

I notice that those VGA capture cards have tumbled in price over the last few years. Something similar would have set you back well over a grand a short time ago but now around a hundred. I realise that's still a lot of money if you haven't got it.

One other thing I thought of would be to capture via S-Video then deinterlace the footage on a computer. Maybe a cheaper option.

For s-video capture you have a lot cheaper options and yeah it still looks good. For another video series I do on my channel I captured Unreal Tournament through s-video. It looks good, although it isn't stretched over the whole screen. If you wanna check it out I can pm you or have a look through my channel.

I used this $20 pci card. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000AOUDY ... mp_s_a_1_4 those cards were recommended to me by brourke228. Definitely good buys.

It's possible. But with 121 pages who knows haha. Try searching the forums. I would gladly capture it but I don't own that game yet.

That would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I'll just wait for someone to post an HD vid of SF III Second Impact. ;)
