Current Status of Tahi Project:
This is the update I received from Reticon on Sept 18th, 2010:
RETICON wrote:
My programming team and I are actually heading to the research lab today at California State University Long Beach to work on our UML design and Use Case scenarios to make sure that we have the most efficient topographical setup for this game as we can possibly make it. It was getting a little 'spaghetti coded' so we need to clean it up. We are also working heavily on our UI features, it doesn't quite look good yet.
Our software engineering portfolio for this game is growing EVERY day, which is a good thing. We're specifying problems and situations that need to be addressed, as well as attacking the structure of this game in a VERY orderly manner.
We'll be bringing a photographer with us as we do our work to post updates with.
As for our website, the reason the forums are down is because of the absolute silliest thing! Our network provider (AT&T) tore up our lines around the area and didn't finish the job! So we've been out of internet for the past five days I told them that this was absolutely unacceptable so their wonderful response was 'We're working on it'.
Also, of course working on the Tahi website itself. It will be launched on the MAIN page of the website where the flash application playing the Reticon theme will be placed. You folks will be THOROUGHLY pleased!

Re: Tahi - The Arocean War (9-9-09)
Hey folks!
We've been silent for quite some time, but I have noticed that people have already seen the updates we have put on our website, the flash website is still not completed, it may change entirely (I personally do not like the layout), but even better!
We have created a BLOG for a very integral part of that flash webpage!
here it is!
http://reticon-et.blogspot.com/
The blog already has TONS of images ready to go! we will be updating this blog REGULARLY (the entire team will have access to it and will be able to post their own updates to it, such as the programmers, writers and artists!)
It will help us keep track of our updates a lot easier and share many photos and videos along with you! it will be implemented on the flash website very soon

Re: Tahi - The Arocean War (9-9-09)
looks great indeed, from the looks of that thing in the upper right corner I'm gonna assume it uses mechanics similar to PSO (which is a good thing)
however I saw written on the first board pic that its gonna be an rpg with 1 playable char, I suppose this also means it won't have an online mode (I thought reticon said in one of his earlier posts that it was gonna be able to play online)
anyways, its way too early to make guesses on that sorta thing, I'm liking what I'm seeing & thats good enough for me atm
great work frank
