a public domain Project X clone, it works surely better than that, on uaeDC
yes a bit slower than the original on real hardware, but no gfx glitches it seems :)

the life and energy bar is out of the screen, cause the big area used, but well at least you can test the game also on DC;
ready to go, first level preloaded, tested until level 3 (second gamedisk)

selfboot .cdi
have fun

THE KILLING GAME SHOW

this is a classic but very hard game; i have set it more doable, disabling the water rising via cheat;
sound effects (imo better) choosed instead of music, and another useful imo thing i'll not spoil :)

i can say it runs flawless, entirely played here

Great game as well , so many games on the Amiga thats still worth playing imo.

Still trying to find a version of Double Dragon 2 that works //sad

I read somewhere in a thread from 2013 that the early versions of the game actually had gfx glitches on real hardware and a newer version was released that fixed that. Problem is at that time the new version had not yet been converted into an adf.

the real issue with that game is imo the deep level of anti copy it had, also track by track (double checked :!: );
combined with a custom trackloader, that the old uae4all core does not match, making freeze the game when a load is required;

not an Agnus or Kickstart issue, terrible picky trackload imo;
infact, the game itself works, cutting the first loading via ussload, but it will stuck when accessing to the disk, cause also how the levels are developed, microfragmented in little short parts, loaded each time;

it was a real pita to crack that back in the day, and took a while also on WinUAE PC to make it work correctly

i'll share the ussload ingame adf disk here, to show that the game works fine, the loadings not

EDIT
here, check this ussload boot disk (adf) ;)
you can swap with the gamedisk at the end of the boot loading
but whatever adf (cause only Oracle reached to crack this bitd) will next stuck,
when the game will search for the next part of level data, accessing to disk
30 seconds/1 minute test lol

Maybe Ian could try to perfectly synch the drive speed to this picky one lol

I have burned the .cdi (with ImgBurn) but the DC keeps resetting.
Am I doing something wrong?

a bit wasteful burn these on cd, you brave :)
they are targeted mainly on gdemu users, to make a collection

but yes, should work also on cd
the media used can make difference when burning, and you can try Discjuggler in alternative

is it your laser ok? you can also extract the files and rebuild adding a dummy file, if is a little weak

this is built as data/data, i can rebuilt as audio/data if you want make another try

I'm a bit confused. :?
The CD's are the same brand I have used for quite some time and they have worked rather well with the DC, so far.
I have also burned previous cdi files from 'single games' posted here and this didn't happen before.
But you must be right, I must be pushing the DC drive..
Could you please rebuild the file as audio/data?

Edit: maybe I can do it myself.
So, I mount the cdi file in a virtual drive.
Copy all the files into a working folder.
Use bootdreams to point to that folder, add a dummy file and build a new discjuggler-cdi file.
I can chose either data/data or audio/data format, which one is preferable for DC drive?
